The Purple Mountain mausoleum complex honors Sun Yat-sen while Ming-era city walls offer panoramic views of this ancient capital. Explore the Confucius Temple area for riverside dining and shop for authentic Yunjin brocade at the nearby handicraft markets.
My original reservation was a room not as big as the picture showing on the website, so I switched to a bigger room which I enjoyed the spacious room very much.
The breakfast is good with variety of choices, and the staff are always helpful and polite, not to mention that the subway is located in the B1 of the hotel for easy access. A 5 stars experience for me.

A fantastic stay at this Westin property. Clean and comfortable rooms, courteous and helpful staff throughout our visit. The on-site hot spring is a real treat. Great for a calm escape from the city.

Excellent service from the staff, very helpful and courteous. Enough English speaking staff members too. Decent breakfast buffet; mix of western, chinese, japanese food. Good location for downtown. Room is comfortable. If you get a room facing inwards the indoor atrium balcony is a nice touch; you can open the doors and not feel so claustrophobic in the room.

Centrally located, steps away from a subway station which will take you to many local attractions. Very friendly staff. We were there for my husband's birthday. They noticed the date on his passport and later on had a cake delivered to our room. We stayed there twice in the 80's, it was the best back then, still the best now. Will always stay at jinling hotel whenever we visit nanjing.
