"The Carolina Motel was great! Clean and comfortable with friendly staff who worked hard to give us a great stay at the motel. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed including a very comfy bed. My only reason for the 4 instead of 5 is that, because it is a little older, it had a tiny bit of a musty smell like many hotels of this age and type do. However, we felt it was a great value and very positive experience and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Carolina Motel staff!"

"This hotel was super clean and quiet! The front deak staff was very polite. I could hear the room above me walking around quite heavily, but i was so tired it didn't matter. It was a great stay for a solo traveler. "

"Our room and the bathroom were clean. Our bed was comfortable (the most important thing). The view of the river out of our back patio door was beautiful. The only problem was there were no cups or stuff to make coffee other than 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee. We were able to solve that problem in the morning. Gotta have that wake up coffee!"
