Biwako Grand Hotel
Everything was exceptional. Did not use the communal spa because we had a private spa in the room with a beautiful view of the lake. Hotel had a shuttle to the train station.

Overall experience is not bad. Some improvement points: 1) Not all staff can speak English well. 2) Please consider not to provide raw seafood for grilling in breakfast for consecutive days. It makes the apparels smelly at the start of the day.

Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel
Bedroom and washroom were spacious, clean and looked new. Amenities were great. The hotel has a wide range of facilities, including a planetarium, which we really enjoyed. We had a great time.
