"I cannot say enough good things about our stay! Quiet, quaint, in the heart of downtown. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the Inn to decompress. We loved the fire pit out front, front porch, and picnic table in the back. Audrey, the housekeeper, was so kind when we saw her and our room was always sparkling clean and refreshed. Service looks more like an “Airbnb” with door codes and your own check in rather than concierge, but we didn’t mind it at all. The interior decor was beautiful and tasteful, something I didn’t feel like was totally captured in my hunt - it may have recently been updated! I found The Centerboard to be one of the more affordable options on island and it had absolutely everything we needed. "

"Walking distance from the ferry. We stayed one night in the off season. King size bed was comfortable. Shower and tub were in the room. Breakfast was continental. The banana bread and coffee were good. They definitely had a variety of breakfast options. We ate at Brotherhood of Thieves and Surfside. Dinner at Brotherhood was fantastic and also the live music upstairs, all within walking distance. Gayle has the best home made cookies too! "
