"Bedding and towels in room clean. Bedroom had some cobwebs on ceiling and on wallpaper, needs extra care taken. Staff helpful. Breakfast was good, would prefer that bacon was cooked on both sides however this seems the norm these days. Bar and restaurant were nice, sky tv in bar and prices for drinks seemed very reasonable. Didn’t use pool or gym. Great location next to the canal and within 5 minutes walk of Chester city. Would definitely stop again."

"Great hotel, especially for the summer with the a/c. Great location on the canal and a grocery store right next door. Unfortunately no fridge in room and the breakfast was very expensive, but there was free teas and coffee. Great spaces for hanging out for a break in the day."

"Had a lovely stay. Our room was on the ground floor close to the pool. It wasn't very big but beautifully decorated. Used the pool on the evening which was lovely. We had included dinner in our booking which we had in Palm Court. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive. We had breakfast in there and had the same experience. We had used Tesco vouchers to pay for part of our stay and that was easy to do. We will definitely come back again."
