About this property

The Cowshed 5* Barns

  • Fed up with being lured to book by photos of grand country house hotels only to find your room is one of many in a soulless, modern wing built on at the back? Looking for somewhere completely different? Youā€™ve found the right place.

Each of our 5* boutique barns are completely unique, even from one another (so our guests have a hard time deciding which is their favourite) but all offer the same thing, inspirational, luxurious, breathtaking, totally original spaces in which to switch off, relax and enjoy being together.

Real fires, quirky yet luxurious interiors, fully equipped kitchens, Nespresso coffee machines, surround sound entertainment systems and romantic mezzanine bedrooms with the comfiest White Companyā€™ clad beds that youā€™ve ever had the pleasure of sleeping in.

All located in Cheshireā€™s most beautiful, rolling countryside with miles and miles of National Trust walks nearby and situated between two superb gastro pubs, (one of which is currently The Good Pub Guides ā€˜Gin Pub of The Yearā€™!)

    Truly Cheshireā€™s most romantic retreats!

Not for the Cowshed and Cabin but for the Old Parlour

The property was nice enough but our weekend didn't get off to a great start as our booking hadn't gone through to the property owner. Rachel did however find us somewhere else to stay and then upgraded us to the Old Parlour on our 3rd night.
