"We booked partially viewed room but somewhat we stayed a room with a view, overlooking the castle park. We stayed a different hotel in Takamatsu earlier of the trip and we felt that we should have stayed here instead. The service are excellent as all staff are trained well. The Superb breakfast! A good value for money indeed."

"The first receptionist I encountered during check in could speak very good English and communicate with me well. Then on the next day, there were any receptionists speaking English, wrong direction was given to me when I asked for going to a seafood place. But they were nice. Hope some more receptionists can speak a little English for international guests."

"Very clean and our view off our room with a balcony was amazing. Only thing, no elevators and some steep climbing with luggage was difficult. Just be prepared."

"Great access to the covered street restaurants amd shopping, through to the canal, old town and the shrines. The onsen was fabulous, so too was the breakfast and the view from the breakfast room. Kurashiki is a very pretty town, with some lovely old buildings and for us, it was great that there weren't many tourists. "

"We love the hotel and friendly staff here. The hotel is conveniently located near the station (5-6mins). Minutes walk to Donki, Aeon and other local restaurants. We also like the spacious room. There’s also a public bath to relax. Breakfast was also great, except that the menu repeats after 2 days. "
