This hotel was renovated a few years ago and re-opened. All rooms are on the 2nd floor and I've stayed in about 4 different ones as each one is unique to the building's architecture. I mention the second floor because there is no elevator so you have to use stairs. Handicapped people might have trouble, I'd check with the hotel as to what they can accommodate. This is an excellent place start-up. The room was very well decorated! Very nice! The bed was sooo comfortable. The room and bath were very clean and the workmanship was very well-done.
There were a few things still to do. The accessible room on the 1st floor was not quiet so a wedding rehearsal was right in there w us. There are issues with door entry codes, have a staffed, obvious check-in desk for service and directions to room. A posted guide to thermostat use, please have better coffee!...

This was a random unplanned stay on the way home from Charleston, SC. Tired of driving, we decided to get some sleep. Found this on Expedia with great ratings and booked it. When we arrived at 9pm, we were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff member who also took the time to interact with my children!!
