In the Bird Paradise, an Oasis of Silence, the Best Rest for You!

We welcome you to our listing! Our apartments are artfully and comfortably furnished, we use natural materials. You will find a 2-room apartment with private entrance, private terrace, private garden and a pool which you share with guests from 2 other small apartments. You have a separate bedroom with double bed and wooden wardrobe and a living room with a sofa bed.
If required, a guest bed or a baby bed can be provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped so that you can cook creatively.

The property
The apartment is 50 sqm. The pool has 6x8 meters. The garden has about 200 square meters, is surrounded by flowering oleander bushes, where you will find shady spots and an old fig tree.
The entrance to the apartment with the garden in front of it is bordered by a fence with a lockable door. Very convenient for our guests with small children or pets. They can stay in the apartment and garden without leaving the premises.

Access for guests
You have access through your own private entrance to your apartment, here to the living room, bedroom and bathroom, to the terrace, to the garden in front of your entrance and to the pool.
The entrance door is 1 meter wide.

The entrance door is 1 meter wide (wheelchair access possible. Please note that the entrance to the bathroom is too narrow for a wheelchair.)

The neighbourhood
In the middle of the nature reserve, in a bird paradise, where flamingos, storks and other migratory birds settle for breeding, you will find an oasis of peace, without traffic.
The beautiful old Cathar town of Gruissan is 4 kilometres away, where you will find a variety of restaurants, shops and cultural activities. The weekly market takes place twice a week. (The Intermarché supermarket has a launderette where you can wash and dry your laundry).

Gruissan is located at the sea. Narbonne, the oldest city in France with the medieval cathedral invites you to stroll.

The house, in which still 2 further apartments are rented, stands alone in the middle of nature.
The apartment with the garden in front is surrounded by a fence with a lockable door leading to the outside. So it is very comfortable in case you have small children or pets. They can stay in the apartement and go out to the garden, but cannot get outside.
Traffic
All places are easily accessible by car and bicycle.
Airports: Toulouse, Montpellier, Perpignan
Arrival by train: Narbonne railway station. Narbonne is 8 km (5 miles) away.

Petit Tournebelle is an ideal location for cyclists and hikers to discover nature, the sea and the Pyrenees as well as old villages and various sightseeing.
