"Check-in was quick and the young lady was friendly. The owner (lady) did not seem to speak much English so came across as unfriendly. The room was small but it is a motel. Looked as though it was newly refurbished but not the bathroom. The bathroom was very small, the shower was decent, no tissues. The room had an AC wall unit and a dehumidifier! The motel is right across the street from the state park beach. It was nice to wake up and take a nice leisurely walk on the beach. We must have picked the perfect time to be there (Monday, August 17th) because the beach was empty but for a few people running, another couple walking and the birds. Breakfast was a choice of bagel, tea, coffee & milk (I think they had a juice also in the refrigerator). Would stay here again."

"Property overlooks a spectacular setting with extraordinary sunrises..the host was very responsive when the AC seemed to fail; he was able to get a technician onto the property in a very short time and all was well!We loved the house and property.. would definitely consider another visit!"

"Jay is a gracious host. She had everything available that we may have forgotten. She met us at the door and she was flexible with what time we got there. She overheard kids talking about how they wanted to sleep in the living room and next thing we knew, she had an air mattress and extra bedding for them. There were pillows and blankets galore. She had k- cups and ground coffee available. She even provided laundry detergent. House was comfortable and everything was very clean. Most likely will go back next year."

"Quiet, peaceful area. Walking distance to beach. Not ideal for toddlers who need a bathroom. None available. Did not know in advance. Well stocked kitchen. Master room had a comfortable bed. Love that there’s an outdoor shower. Three tvs- Wow! Like the patio minus the flora which falls on the furniture and gets in way of seated people.Well stocked games. AC available in all rooms ; however extremely noisy."

"We stayed at this location for a bachelorette party. The location was wonderful and only a 30-45 min from Newport! The communication with the host was great. We had a question during our stay and had a response within the hour. We had a beach day and had access to beach chairs and umbrellas! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Five stars! "
