"Payed bit extra to stay here but was quiet and handy to everything, did stay at upper room 36 i think ,1 week later came back to lower 18 ,lower level more queiter and room better contion ,both have great air cons ,powerful n quiet ,happy here....."

"Friendly operator, good prices, older style but clean and quite, not on highway so no traffic noise. Good price which included continental breakfast in the dining room, which was lovely. Second time we’ve stayed, last time was in a much larger room but room we had this time was big enough."

"Faultless in all aspects…Especially comfortable beds with the cleanest linen I have experienced in my many years of travelling! The modern bathroom facilities in our room were lovely,with fantastic water pressure and THE HOTTEST WATER EVER!! (Maybe a warning about that in your compendium’s would benefit parents with small children ;) I highly recommend The Historic Hydro for any length of stay,and I will be sure to tell all my family and friends of it’s existence if they don’t know already :) "
