"Great stay in Narvik at the Royal. Great breakfast included. Old school bar restaurant attached. If you’re skiing and don’t have a car, it’s a 20-30 minute hike up the hill. Call a taxi. Good lobby snacks including sandwiches if you arrive late. Rooms w view of the ski hill are available. Check that ski hill is fully open when planning. Gondola was closed and 3 slopes were open in Feb 2026 as they prepared for World Championships "

"Great location in the park. Breakfast was very good. Coffee is ok, not great. Bistro restaurant food is very good. Lovely facilities throughout the building with cozy places to sit, especially by the fire. We had a superior economy room which was very comfortable. "
