I stayed for 4 nights with my wife on an 18 day honeymoon, and out of all the places we stayed, including 5-star hotels in Cairo, Nairobi, Dubai, and the Maldives, we had the best service and the best food of all at Elephant Pepper. We were picked up directly from the Mara North Airstrip and immediately began our safari adventure with a game drive. "David and his team were exceptional! All meals were delicious and prepared fresh by their chef. Very close (5-7 minute) to the gate park! They have so many add on features including a champagne breakfast within Maasai Mara National Park…They also have photography options to capture your moments. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The bathrooms and kitchens can use some revamping but David is constantly making improvements to the space. Looking forward to staying here again. "

"This place is awesome! The tented structure was awesome and the bathrooms attached to each structure were modern and clean. After just a few short hours of being there, the Maasai guards knew who we were and where our tent was. At night when it was dark, they would walk with with us shining a light to make sure we could see. The food was 10/10. When I went to the bar and asked for a bottle of water for my room, they brought it to my tent. The whole staff was so friendly and the service was outstanding! I definitely hope to return because it was such a great experience. They also had a really cool traditional Maasai dance one night during dinner. "

"We had a wonderful time at Entumoto. We can, without hesitation, recommend it to all. The accommodation is luxurious & lacks nothing. Large tents & comfy beds, with great bathroom & hot solar heated showers. The viewfrom our tent was spectacular & we could even enjoy it from our huge bed.with a cuppa. The staff are wonderful, friendly & will do everything they can to make your stay magical. The food, a lot from their own garden,is superb & we are foodies. The game drives can’t be beaten. We saw all the usual animals including, lions, cheetah & leopard. We spent one long day in the National Park in the Mara & the rest in the conservancy & doing both is to be recommended .The bush lunch in nearby Eden is a must. Isaac our safari guide was the best ever. Extremely interesting & personable. Highly skilled, silver awarded guide,super enthusiastic & extremely knowledgeable. Every member of staff from Chef to gardener went above & beyond. We would return tomorrow if we could."

"Their dining is superb, unlike any safari oriented place I've ever stayed, which is over 30 times. Their menu is extensive, and I mean first-class. You order one hour before because it takes time to create great food in the wilds of Masai Mara.. Simply amazing. I would go back just for the food. Their overall service is excellent and the lodging/tents are fine. Maybe a little more lighting would made the women happier (my wife). Their safari guide/driver was the best we had during our 10 full game drive days, including Serengeti/Ngorongoro. (15-20 minutes). He showed us a mother leopard feeding her two babies. Only 2 jeeps out of over 500 at the same site were so lucky, thanks to his skill and experience and knowledge of the area and patience. High quality for the low price, words usually unhear at other camps!"
