"Ok. Here is a review to help people as I have seen some bad reviews. This property is not a $1500/night maldives room. It needs some TLC - some deck boards and railings are at end of life, as are some chairs. We stayed in the master suite and really liked the place. Water is crystal clear, master suite has the best fish viewing, owners are really friendly and eager to please, food and drinks are decent - fresh OJ for the tequila sunrise! The charging station at the reception is not a big deal. I don’t need tvs. Fans kept us cool and it rained almost every night. There were a couple minor damp spots after rain but did not need the provided container. For the price this place is 100% worth it. I would go back in heart beat. If you need a blow dryer and straight iron and other high powered appliances to feel like you at home and need to watch your reality TV on a big screen, you might want to skip this. If you want a great relaxing location and unique experience - do it! "

"I've learned to be cynical about hotels, but Hotel Los Brezos was a very pleasant surprise. The room wasn't big, but very nice, with excellent maid service. The restaurant was great, and we're picky. We'll be back in Volcan, and we won't dare stay anywhere else."

"The room was large but very much in need of a refurb. We had a ground floor room with a patio which was completely enclosed with a chain link fence and vegetation so was not particularly pleasant to sit out. The pool was in a very poor condition and we chosenot to use it"

"Villa Reef was absolutely amazing. They definitely care about their guests and it shows in all the touches in the villa. There is everything you could think of in the kitchen, the rooms were lovely but best of all was the location and view. We could snorkel, paddle board and kayak right off the dock. Amir, the concierge was amazing at helping out with whatever questions we had and arranged the 15 minute water taxis to and from town. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. Absolutely wonderful stay! "
