"The whole resort appears to to be run down and derelict. The swimming pool is empty and the whole place unkept. The room was recently refurbished and clean. We were cought out that the online booking said breakfast was included and then when we checkjed in the manager advised us that it was not and we had to pay an additional fee for the breakfast."

"We arrived and they were not expecting us even through we had a confirmed booking. After two phone calls the receptionist still couldn't confirm our booking. We waited around and still didn't get anywhere. We then asked to see the room which was unprepared, unaired, smelly, damp, mouldy and sited right next the public toilets next door. The next available town was Maun, another 4 hour drive away so couldn't wait for the receptionist to sort our booking so we left. We feel angry that we had...

"We booked and pre-paid for our rooms. Upon arrival, the receptionist was first not aware of our booking, but could then find the booking and payment confirmation e-mail from Expedia.com. However, they claimed that they hadn't received the money from Expedia, and thought it was *our* responsibility to make sure that Expedia pays the property, and they refused to check us in and show us our rooms. Expedia staff tried to be helpful and explained how the manager can initiate the funds transfer, but they still refused to show us our rooms. In the end, Expedia refunded us, and we went to a different guest house."
