"We had a really lovely stay at InterContinental Fiji. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The beach, pools and overall atmosphere were excellent, especially for a relaxing family holiday with a young child."

"We had a lovely stay at Geckos. The room was clean and food was good, and the massages were especially good. The staff were overall helpful. It is best to hire a car or be prepared for a few taxi trips as the resort is a bit isolated, and be aware that restaurant opening hours are limited. A walk to the nearest swimming beach is possible but not very easy."

"First things first - we had a lovely time here. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, it was a really chill vibe. The onsite restaurants were excellent, and it was easy to settle into a comfortable groove - especially if you embrace "Fiji time".. The beach was convenient with warm waters and good sand, and the shore snorkeling at the nearby reef was world class. I highly recommend a) snorkeling at or near high tide, pretty much in front of the neighboring Intercontinental hotel and b) signing up for the (free) guided snorkel that they run - having a knowledgeable guide helps you see things that you would otherwise miss. The WiFi was largely good, but I don't think you can rely on it to stream a movie over VPN for example, but it's great for web browsing and email etc. One thing to note: what makes it special is it's seclusion, it's a decent drive from the airport and there isn't a lot to do on foot from there, other than eating at the (expensive) intercontinental next door. So, plan accordingly. The major upside is the relaxation and serenity that comes with the location. We took a day cruise from Port Denauru with South Sea cruises, they included round trip shuttle from the hotel in the package, I'm sure other companies offer similar options. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend the property."
