Isabella House is a circa 1885 cottage with vintage character and charm located on Canal Street in downtown Natchez, Mississippi. Within short walking distance are such attractions as: The Natchez Visitor Center, Bluff Park and walking trail, The Convention Center, historic Under-The-Hill Saloon as well as beautiful antebellum homes and the mighty Mississippi River himself. The cottage has been lovingly renovated from a state of total disrepair and is available for nightly and weekly stays comfortably accommodating 2-4 guests. The second bed is a custom-made wall bed located in the living room area. It has a wonderful full-height queen mattress with an additional 4" memory foam topper. Let us know it will be needed, and we will have this bed down, made and ready for guests. Each sleeping area opens onto the front porch, and each also open into the kitchen affording privacy for both. Although furnished with many unique and antique pieces, it still offers modern conveniences such as TV, internet, dishwasher and washer/dryer as well as complimentary beverages. The rear courtyard is spacious and private and has a grill and chiminea for guest use. At Isabella House, you'll be within walking distance of wonderful downtown shops, restaurants and entertainment, but you might not want to leave the back porch!

This adorable cottage was perfect for our stay during the Pilgrimage tour. The beds were very comfortable (one is a Murphy bed) and we enjoyed the back porch.

Great location in a beautiful town that offers so much. We’ll definitely be back.
The perfect place to stay in Natchez! Great location. I was in town for a convention. This adorable place was within walking distance to the convention center , great restaurants, across from the river walk and the Rosalie house. Be sure to check out the Canal St. Market next door and the striding Post across the street. The courtyard at Isabella house was such a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. You will not be disappointed.

Great location at edge of historic downtown Natchez. The owners had lots of great touches in decorations & amenities. The back porch & yard are wonderful to rest and relax. Would stay again!
Our weekend stay at Isabella House was perfect! It was step back in time with modern amenities. The house is located within easy walking distance of downtown. Our host, Jackie was so hospitable and fantastic with communication. We would definitely recommend staying here.
We spent four nights here and enjoyed every minute. The house was immaculately clean, had everything we needed and was filled with thoughtful touches. The back porch was a great place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening beverage.
This home is exactly as in the listing. It is very convenient to all of the historical attractions. It is on a busy street, but the back porch is nice and peaceful.
Great cottage. Clean, wonderful location, responsive host. We enjoyed our time in Natchez very much, home is close to downtown and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend in Natchez. The Isabella Cottage was the perfect location. We enjoyed walking around town and had everything we needed. Some other guests mentioned in past reviews that the road noise bothered them, but we had no trouble sleeping!
Property was in the heart of the city in walking distance to most everything. Property was well maintained and had everything we needed on our stay. Also the biggest thing to me was the communication. The owner was very quick to respond to all messages and made us feel at home.Would recommend to anyone who visits this area.
The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The back yard enclosure is a great place to sit and relax and is very convenient for pets. It is walking distance from everything in town (or a very short, convenient drive). I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.
My husband, mother, and our two dogs stayed for the 4th of July fireworks. This little cottage was perfect. It was a great location to walk to most places and it had everything we needed. A fenced back yard for the “kids” with a bbq pit was great. The cottage has so much charm. We loved it.

We liked it all. The little 1885 house was precious, furnished with appropriate period antiques. The back yard area was wonderful. It was such a pleasure to sit out on the large back porch and drink coffee in the morning. The house is the perfect location being within walking distance from several historic sites in Natchez, including being right across the street from historic 1820 Rosalie. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided.
Everything was exactly as advertized. I can not say too much about how great our host was! They were extremely responsive and even came over to help us with the TV on the same day as they were heading out of town! We enjoyed how close the house is to everything and how cosy the house itself is. You really can't go wrong with this house!
We particularly enjoyed the big fenced in back yard and relaxing porch because we were traveling with our dog. He was endlessly occupied watching all the birds, squirrels and neighbor cat. That gave us lots of time to enjoy the beginnings of Spring. It is an easy walk to downtown and very close access to the River. The little market next door had lovely provisions. We are grateful for all that Jackie and Luc provided.
I went with my 2 best friends, all moms, who took a long weekend for shopping, great food, and a getaway from every day life. This is such a cute and lovely home that was so clean and PERFECT for us. The backyard and back porch are amazing. We were so close to everything. This house was super convenient to come back to after shopping for a rest and then back out again. We will definitely come back!
Terrific stay at Isabella Cottage in the beautiful city on the bluff. My cousin and I were visiting Natchez for the Restoring Hope weekend, hosted by Our Restoration Nation. Isabella House has a great location. Super cute decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom and kitchen. Great back yard and covered porch, although when we were there it was too darn hot to enjoy it. Yes there was traffic noise, but we knew that ahead of time and weren't really bothered by it at all. Nice place all around and would recommend it to others.
This little house is perfect for those of us who love Southern History. Everything was set up for the guest and there is a house guide to help you with anything you need to know. I definitely recommend the stay. You are only a couple of blocks from downtown and all of the restaurants and shopping. Other reviews spoke of the traffic but after dark it does slow down so it is not as bad as it would seem. You do have to remember you are staying downtown.
The Isabella House is like taking a step back in time. The owner has done a very nice job setting-up the house to give you a feel of the period. This home has been restored nicely and sits near many historical areas in Natchez. There is a noise issue with S. Canal street but the owner provides a white noise device and ear plugs. To me that was very considerate and helpful. I will try to stay here again the next time we come to Natchez.
Our first ever trip to the Bluff City was a wonderful experience, in large part due to our excellent accommodation in this lovely 19th century cottage. We spent a three-day weekend and everything exceeded our expectations! The rooms were luxuriously appointed and cozy. The noise from Canal Street was definitely noticeable but not intrusive, and the back porch and courtyard were comfortable and inviting (it helped that we lucked into ideal weather conditions - low 70s during the day and low 50s at night with low humidity).
We heartily recommend the Isabella House for anyone looking for a comfortable place with a touch of the Old South, but with modern conveniences and a great location.
