"This was the perfect place to stay as it is at the top of the Gaslamp District in San Diego. Walking distance to Petco Park, the San Diego Convention Center, and the Navy Pier. Plus is just blocks from my San Diego office. Great and Helpful staff and they are always ready to get you directions to the best for or experiences within walking distance and beyond."
"The convenience of being right on the beach can’t be beat! But the rooms definitely need some updating and the air conditioner was full of dust. Overall, my family had a great time at the pool, beach, and sports courts."
"I loved this hotel! My only (but a major) complaint is that it was impossible to get time by the pool. People claimed all the lounge chairs early in the morning and stayed all day. One of the main reasons we chose to stay here was the beautiful pool, but there was no organized system for hotel guests to be able reserve a spot or to limit the amount of time people can use the lounge chairs. It was very disappointing. But everything else was great."
"Overall, the resort was wonderful. We really enjoyed the pool and activities for kids. The room was big and also well maintained. Relatively affordable for the area.
Just had some cons which is what lowered my rating. The room did not have a microwave and our TV was glitchy. The location on Mission Bay is not the best as there is nothing walkable (the active part of Mission Bay is on the other side).
Fun hotel though."
"Beautiful quiet private stay! Cute fountain to take pics in front of for us tourists. Ice machine that works! Awesome pool that isn’t crowded and has space to actually swim. Hot tub that gets hot. The room was clean but the bathroom was iffy. Hair on the shower curtain and what looked like pubic hair on the toilet seat and floor. I always carry Lysol wipes when we travel so it was no huge problem for us but others may not hesitate to complain. Also I’m a janitor, I know people tend to slack on cleaning the restrooms no matter where you’re at lol. Front desk was quick and friendly and let us check in about 30 mins early. The bed was hard on us but hotel beds are pretty notorious for not being very comfortable so what are ya gonna do. All in all.. we would stay here again. It’s close to a lot of touristy stuff and had free parking."
"Having two pools with jacuzzis was perfect. Having heated pools, absolute bonus! Housekeeping was on point and even took care when handling my son’s stuffies. They even made him an octopus out of the towels and placed his stuffed turtle on top. Very cute touch. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. We could even see Seaworld’s drone show at night from our room!"
"Rooms don’t have a microwave you have to go into the dinning area which is a bummer but overall loved our stay room was clean staff was nice definitely would stay here again"
