"The appartment itself was ok: renovated building, lots of space, clean, several eating options closeby... There was actually an elevator contrary to what was listed on Expedia, a nice surprise. My only minor gripes were that the mattress was too soft for my taste and the TV quite small. However, I had two more important concerns which negatively impacted my stay experience. "A good choice for Palermo. We stayed in a Superior Double for 2 nights and enjoyed it. The hotel was very well located for walking around Palermo and the room was clean and everything in it worked well. The parking facility also worked well – we pulled up outside the hotel (it was easy to avoid the restricted ZTL areas), unpacked our bags and gave our key to the receptionist. Checkout was equally smooth and our car pulled up outside within a few minutes of our request). The parking charge was 23 euros per night but it worked well. We didn’t use the restaurant although we did visit it with the aim of having a drink – we were met with “do you have a reservation as we only have 30 covers”. We were shown a seat but we left before ordering our drink because of the slightly clumsy welcome (I think it was the manager at the time who spoke to us so no reflection on the other hotel staff who were very friendly). It may have just been a translation issue and wouldn’t stop me staying here but reviews are for feedback and if it is just for a drink we would go elsewhere. We did have breakfast in the breakfast room both days and that was good (although they seemed a bit short staffed and therefore slightly rushed they worked hard to keep people happy). There was a decent selection of food and at a decent quality too. We would stay again and the only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that we had better stays on our Sicily trip and have judged this accordingly."

"The first room we were given there was no working AC. It took contacting the front desk 3 times for them to finally tell us that it was broken in the room and they couldn't fix it. They then offered us a different room that was not on the renovated portion of the hotel. So we move rooms and this room was only slightly better. The AC was at least somewhat functional, but not nearly as functional as the ones in the working renovated rooms. There were plastered up holes on the walls and mold in the shower. The next day the only light went completely out in the bathroom and it took going to the front desk another three times to get that fixed. The breakfast was decent and there is sufficient parking, but could not in good conscience recommend this hotel."

"Our rooms were immaculate, everything you could possibly want including the most beautiful beach is right at your fingertips. Alessia the beautiful young woman who cooks at breakfast was such a joy along with her coworkers. I highly recommend breakfast because of these sweet and attentive staff members. Also, the young lady who prepares cocktails by the pool, also outstanding. The front desk staff was very helpful as well. I can’t say enough good things about this property and the amenities. I also would like to mention the gentleman who helps at check-in to carry bags, he is so on top of things. Overall, it was a fantastic stay."
