Hampton Inn Spring Hill

"I remember when staying at a Hampton Inn was looking forward to THE MOST comfy, cushy, luxurious beds in the hotel world. Those beds were something else. Pillowtop plush with puffy pampering pillows. It's been a while since I've stayed at a Hampton, so when I booked this reservation, I was thinking that I'd be welcomed back into that comfy, cushy luxurious world of slumber. Sadly, the modern version that I got was nothing like the past version. The room I got felt dated, or outdated. The bed was decently comfortable, but NOTHING like those memories of mine. Pillows were even less. The toilet is VERY low. Like sitting in your toddler grandchild's teatime chair. And the bedframe legs are definite big 'toe stubbers'. I hit my toes on the bed legs several times. That said, I got an okay night's sleep. And SLEEP is the ENTIRE reason for hotels. The number ONE deterrent from gaining a good night's sleep is usually the room air quality. Cold or hot. I had to set the air conditioning at 70 degrees to remain comfortable. It sure did not feel like 70 degrees. Believe me, there were no icicles hanging from the ceiling. The 3rd floor hallway was quite warm, too. The second deterrent to a restful stay is noise. The room was quiet OTHER than the a/c. That machine was rather loud. The ON and OFF cycling of the a/c was distracting and sleep disturbing. I hate to sound picky, but for a review to be helpful, one must be honest. Overall, an ok stay but NOT Hampton perfect."

"Beautiful home! We spent lots of time in the pool and loved having all the games downstairs to enjoy! Sunset at Pine Island, airboat ride, lunch at lazy lizard, was a fun filled weekend!"

"This property is unbelievable. It is immaculate and so comfortable. Having your own pool right in the backyard is amazing!!!! We spent hours enjoying the hot weather in the pool. The host is amazing and responsive and the small issue of a battery beeping in the fire alarm was dealt with promptly. I cannot say enough about how much I love this property! A tip for people using the induction stove, it cooks very hot so do not use it on a very high setting! All appliances are newer and work very well and for people that enjoy a cup of tea there is a kettle! This may not sound like a big idea but many places do not offer this! You will not regret staying here, we didn’t want to leave!"

"This was a great, quiet, private room with all the amenities of a a hotel, and more!! Originally, I was going to stay alone, but a friend joined me last minute. The place was spacious, and closet space was enormous. Close to shops, restaurants and about an hour to Clearwater Beach! The private, in ground pool was mere steps away and morning and evening swims were the best!"
