The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

I didn’t like my bed, which was supposed to be a queen, but instead was 2 twins pushed together.. the sheets didn’t fit properly & I woke up each morning sleeping on the bare mattress, as the fitted sheet kept slipping off. "The room number 3 was spacious and convenient to two restaurants although the restaurant that was attached and assumed to be part of the hotel was not open at all. There was only a code entrance to the hotel and no information how to get in until we arrived and had to phone for information. The entrance and lobby is very tired and uninviting. The bathroom had a dirty and worn sealant around the whole of the floor/wall tiles to the point of being disgusting. The bed mattress is a cheap foam and...

"We stayed at Student Factory for 3 nights. This is a new apartment block near Gare St Jean. There are parking buildings around or you can find some street parking. The building is a little hard to find at first. The apartment we started in had a bad leak, but they changed us to another one. Nice and warm and good views. Bed was great, very comfortable - kitchen was very basic but had some plates and cutlery and a couple of saucepans. Staff were very helpful and we would definitely stay again. "
