"Room had a bedroom and separate enclosed living room with pull out sofa bed so two people could each have a separate space to sleep. The sofa bed was comfortable. Also came with a kitchen that had a fridge, cooktop and microwave along with cooking and eating utensils. Easy walking distance to market, restaurants, and old town. Area was noisy, but with windows shut it was fine. "

You can hike directly to Tazones and a few other routes right from the property. The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed, modern, and clean. The kitchen has decent cookware and good silverware and plates. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

However, it's not available in the apartments just by the reception/breakfast area. Also...we did not need AC as it was cool at night while we were there. However, there is no AC in individual units unless the owner turn it on for the whole complex. Not a big issue save for one: no screens on the windows. Had to choose between comfort vs letting a few...
