Exceeded all my expectations! The Hotel has a charm like no others i have stayed in while touring around Spain. The staff were helpful and the property was clean and well maintained.

The hotel was remarkable for its splendid high-ceiling room, and wooden floor well maintained with aromatic oils. Dinner service is quite professional. The town of Bera is known for being the place where Pío Baroja and his famous relativos lived and died. We wished to hear the sounds of the notable organ located at the cathedral, but it was not possible fue to unavailability of Church officials. It was wonderful, our room was very nice and the buffet breakfasts excellent. The staff very attentive and accommodating, quite helpful in finding a restaurant.

Hotel St-Julian is the perfect way to experience the town and unique neighborhoods of Biarritz. Phillip and his wife are the best of host. St. Julian is situated on a quaint side street, but so close to the beaches, bakeries, and cafes that we did not use our car once. The hotel is amazing, fully remodeled , our room was exquisite. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a good choice to spend the night here and take a day trip to the busy San Sebastian. It was convenient to have breakfast included.

Wonderful boutique hotel in St Jean de Luz . Perfect location.

We visited Hotel La Marisa for three nights in September with friends and chose the hotel based on location and value. It definitely succeeded on both fronts! The location in St. Jean de Luz is perfect - close to the beach plus walking distance of all the main restaurants and shops in the town. Farmhouse like setting in countryside. Small village in walking distance. Quiet and serene. Surrounded by hills, trees, country. Room decor could be upgraded. Coffee maker in room would be a plus to the experience. Hosts are helpful and friendly.

Any time we are in or near Guethary we stay here. It has been five years and the excellent standard has not changed. They continuously update where need be. This time it was during a heatwave and the continuously cooled rooms are the recipe for a great night’s sleep, not counting the superbly soft white cotton sheets. Coming back again, that’s for sure.

We loved staying at this hotel - our bedroom was beautiful (and huge), combining old charm with modern beauty (bathroom was nicely updated). The front desk staff was very nice and helpful - they helped us figure out the local bus system to go to an indoor spa just outside of town on a rainy day when we could not go to the beach and gave us good restaurant recommendations for dinner! RUNNING OF THE BULLS! This hotel is 200' walking from the town centre where the Opening Ceremony occurs, Bulls run through, and all the action is! FANTASTIC LOCATION! VERY expensive for those days but worth it if you are going for the occasion - so convenient to walk back and forth to enjoy it all w/o having to take transportation. Parking available.
