Its my 2nd time here and all i can say its great not far from the town 5 min to the beach and of course the owner of the hotel Mr Bill great hospitality thank you for everything i do recommend anyone coming to this hotel go to his new cafe called Jasmine Cafe

Very enjoyable stay...

We stayed 5nights at Helmos hotel. Overall very pleased with our stay. Great location and the hotel in general was in very good condition. The owner is a great person, very welcoming and always present and willing to help. The only minor downside for us was that they could be a bit more on top with the cleanliness of the rooms. Notably changing the bath mat and the bedding more often. The mattresses were not the most comfortable, but were clean. Overall, we were satisfied and we would happily visit it again.

Magnifica struttura.

Tutto perfetto, aravamo già stati in questa struttura lo scorso anno e ci eravamo trovati benissimo, ora ci siamo trovati ancora meglio!!! Proprietario gentilissimo, posizione magnifica, vicino alla spiaggia e alla città. Pulito, stanza spaziosa e bagno magnifico. Consigliatissimo.

Hyvä hotelli keskeisellä sijainnilla. Hotellin pitäjä on erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias, hotelli Helmoksessa tuntee olevansa tervetullut. Viihtyisä ja tilava huone. Kylpyhuone myös hyvä, suihku ei kastele koko kylpyhuonetta. Viereiseltä kadulta kantautuva melu häiritsee öisin jonkin verran, jos on herkkäuninen.

Great stay

We stayed at Hotel Helmos for a week, and was really pleased with our stay. The room was really nice, and the location was great. The owner was lovely, and very helpful, giving us lots of good tips and recommendations.

A great little hotel

What a great little hotel! It’s 2 minutes away from a beautiful beach 5 minutes from the city center. The rooms are big and clean and even have a beautiful little terrace to relax on. The host is so nice and friendly and he is making the whole Naxos island experience even better. He has a lot of helpful tips and is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel as the price and location are unbeatable. Can’t wait to return :)

Helmos Hotel - a super place!

Helmos is an absolute pearl, great rooms, very fair price and the owner Vasilis is such a star. The hotel location is for us the best; right between the city and the beach with 6-8min walk either direction. The one thing you may want to be careful with is the shop just beside, pricey, instead go one block up to a proper supermarket. We have been at Helmos a few years now and will certainly come back again!

Friendly welcome, good size rooms, very convenient

Hotel Helmos is in a perfect spot between Ag. Georgios beach and Naxos Hora. Our room on the first floor was in an old part of the building with double doors, a good size which would be ideal for parents & child (although we were just a couple) - double bed in one room with bathroom off, and a single bed and fridge, kettle, etc in other part with sliding door between if req. Interesting ceiling lights. Narrow balcony outside. Some traffic and late night noise at night, but not bad. WiFi good. Vassilis was very friendly & helpful, especially after we left! I had lost my glasses (tucked in dress, must have fallen off on stairs or room as I left with cases). We telephoned and they were found & posted to us at our rooms on Paros.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Naxos and it was made even better due to the comfortable room and warm welcome we received from Vasilis, the hotel owner. He was informative and understanding when we arrived very late. The room is huge and the bed very big and comfortable. The shower was a waterfall shower which was heaven to come back to after our sailing trip! It was very close to town which meant we could comfortably get home without a worry. The area is vibrant and full of restaurants. This was such good value for for money - we would definitely come again! It felt like home and we loved our stay!

This property is clean and quaint. The owner is wonderful. His wife made us cookies and he also took our luggage to the ferry dock. A very affordable place and not to far from the beach and great restaurants

Exactly as depicted and hoped for!

This hotel did not disappoint me once. It was a great location from which to enjoy the local beach and the centre of town with shopping and restaurants. Vassilis was very helpful with regard to transfers from the port and booking a round the island tour (a must if you really want to understand the landscape). The tour was extremely enjoyable and inexpensive and I would thoroughly recommend it. The area around the hotel was a bit noisy at times, but the shutters could easily be closed which blocked it out. I loved the little balcony. The shower and bathroom were both great and the room was spacious and clean. Many thanks to Vassilis.

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και μας βοήθησε κατά την διαμονή μας.Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο. Χρειάζεται βελτίωση στις σωληνώσεις του μπάνιου γιατί έρχεται μια περίεργη οσμή και καλύτερο στρώμα.

Fantastico hotel vicinissimo porto, spiaggia, negozi e ristoranti. Stanza grande e pulitissima, bagno ampio con doccia in muratura. Personale gentile ci ha fornito le indicazioni necessarie. Il tutto ha contribuito a rendere la nostra vacanza a Naxos stupenda.

Personnel chaleureux, nous avons été accueillis et reconduits au port à notre arrivée comme au départ. L'hôtel est idéalement placé à proximité de tout (centre ville, plage, supermarché, restaurants...). La chambre était très spacieuse avec une cuisine séparée et une grande salle de bain à l'italienne lumineuse et aérée par une large fenêtre. La climatisation est silencieuse et la literie confortable. Le dressing offre beaucoup de place pour le rangement. Un vrai petit appartement propre, calme avec une décoration moderne. Rien à redire pourvu que le succès ne leur monte pas à la tête 😉

Perfect base for a great island

After you have settled down, the owner, Vassilis, sits you down to point out the must-dos on Naxos patiently. He even assisted to book a day tour, and returned my rental car key while you can focus every precious second exploring the quaint chora and sights. Every facility in the room worked well, with a bathroom which feels so uniquely Greek to me that it is one of my favourites in all my travels. Feel free to make arrangement with Vassilis for shuttle service. He was a friend whom aided in creating unforgettable memories for this solo traveller.
