Close to everything, very simple and angry staff

Very simple room but it matches what you pay, they had very low prices which was great. The owner was very grumpy to many of the guests but since the hotel is situated near to everything it was okay. Much traffic outside of the hotel in the night so buy earplugs!

bad experience with the owners. took my passport and would not give it back until i checked out. they also tried to scam me so that they got double the amount of money they were supposed to. the place itself was okay but i would not stay here again, especially as someone from another country. the hotel seemed to be unorganized and did not look dirty but it felt dirty.

Good hotel close to beach and town square of Naxos

First time visit to Greece for wedding of a friend. Hotel Rea only 2 - 3 KM from Naxos Airport (10 Euro by taxi). Arrived around 9.30 am after a 15 hour journey fully expecting not to be able to check in until 1 pm, but pleasantly surprised taken to my upgraded room immediately. Nice hotel on edge of Naxos town, approximately 5 - 10 mins walk from the beach and 10 - 15 minute walk from the town and harbour area. Clean, generally quiet, with a nice comfortable bed and basic room facilities, i.e. fridge, shower/toilet, AC. Owner was very welcoming and friendly offering free transportation back to the Airport upon return journey. If you are happy with no frills basic inexpensive accommodation, I would highly recommend Hotel Rea.

Bad hotel staff and very NOISY

We booked our stay 2 months ahead on expedia and when we arrived, the hotel owner greeted us with a surprised look on his face; He wasn't aware of our arrival and didnt have any room prepared for us. He managed to find a room but told us many times that it was the worst one available but that ''it should do for only one night stay''. Additionaly to this, the rooms dont have any AC and it gets very noisy at night because it is situated near a little street where cars and scooters pass.

L'hôtel est bien situé, proche de la plage et du centre ville, mais une modification de la circulation fait que la rue qui longe l'hôtel est devenue très passagère et bruyante.
