What a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms. The owner and her daughters are wonderful! So kind and helpful. We enjoyed the location. Not too far from many restaurants, shopping and the port. Would highly recommend!

This was one of the best properties we’ve stayed at. The rooms well done but the cleanliness is what sets it apart. Walking distance to town and nearby activities. AMAZING! Not only a gorgeous hotel but extremely clean and in a great location. Not to mention the staff was very hospitable, providing a map, explanation of the layout of the town and a list of recommendations for food and activities. Genuinely one of the best, if not the best hotel experience I have had and it was at such an affordable price. I will be returning and recommending to anyone who plans on visiting Naxos.

We had a wonderful stay here, family owned run by mother and 3 daughters, that is where the name of the hotel came from, each letter M-K-V. Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and shower, plus a little kitchen area if you decide to cook. We had a rooftop with a jacuzzi which was great after a long day to relax. Walking distance to town and beach about 10-15 min.

We loved our stay at Makava! It’s a fantastic family run business with the nicest people in town! All were friendly, gave great recommendations, and called a taxi driver for us when departing. Room was cute with all the needed amenities! Highly walkable with port about an 8-10 min walk and King George Beach an 8-10 min walk.

We enjoyed our brief stay here very much. Wish it had been longer! The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Every thing was clean and seemed brand new - even the pans etc. in the kitchenette. We were in the lower ground floor so no view but it there was plenty of daylight and the room was bright and airy. The bed was really comfortable with quality sheets and nice pillows - something you rarely find in Greece. Great walk in shower with fixed ceiling rose, and hand rose - and another ceiling rose over a seat! We had an extra small room - a sort of below ground balcony - where I could work on my laptop while my partner was asleep. The hotel is small and convenient for town and buses to the beaches.

Ireni and her staff are amazing. Room was perfect. Close to everything. Clean. Lots of amenities. Ireni setup car rental for us. Got the best rate and they dropped off and picked up the car from the hotel. So convenient. She also recommend the best places to visit. So far best hotel on the trip.
