Overall it was fun and relaxing...
The pool area was great, not enough shading options but it's fine.
The food was average quality, not fancy...
To fix - beds, pillows, all the doors to guest rooms, elevators are from last century??
Will come back though...
Great location , beautiful views, kind staff. Unfortunately- the receptionist and bar area and the pool access is dependent on how busy the hotel. On days that they have low occupancy - there is no availability for the cafe/ bar area, no reception at night, pool is closed.

Feeling a vactaion may need to improved.
Spending a weekend in a hotel with realized potential in service and cleanliness. Breakfast was good considering the limitations of corvid 19. Could be much better now not at the 5-star level.

ice, but in need of updating
The place was fantastic when we stayed there years ago. It looks like it hasn’t been updated in that amount of time. It’s time to refurbish the place.
We were four families and it was nice.
The only issue was that the pool closed at 4pm on Saturday and it wasn't clear when the pool will be opened on Sunday.
The rest was great

It was nice. It is a clean surrounding, but far from the city center. we were in the under swimming pool room, how I wish that they did put us in the higher room to enjoy the view of the place. It was a disappointment that when the adjacent room start to talk loud and singing and shouting we heard it and wake us up while we were sleeping, I wish they make something about this.
A pleasant stay at the hotel, service was ok and the room was comfortable. The meal times were a bit chaotic as there was always a buffet and multiple tour groups, having said that the food was ok although drinks were expensive.
Cleanliness is good . My room was kept clean but wow the reception staff has a bad attitude towards guests especially foreigners . They speak one word or short sentence to dismiss your request . If you request them to assist call a taxi for you , they say do it yourself . They are just not prepared to assist at all . Ever since my arrival in the hotel I had had a problem with the door of my room . It did not open . Each time I had to go a distance to the reception which is quite distant . I would go back to the room to try it , only to find it still doesn’t open . I would walk three to four times before they send their maintenance officer . Even then it work for a short time , once I leave the room it won’t open on my return . This was my experience all the four days I spent in that hotel . They refused to change me to another room upon request .
One day I came late to church , after 21 hours and found dinner already closed . I tried to explain my predicament with the two reception gentlemen and were far from assisting me even to arrange a taxi fro me to go buy food . I requested to be given the manager of the hotel to talk to find out if he cannot have a better discretion to exercise . I was very disappointed to realize that the very person who exhibited this arrogance was manager ( as he identified himself to me ) . This kind of arrogance and unfriendliness is also found in the breakfast dinning room . Those guys attired in black and white behave like bosses . Least t
Comfortable hotel with great amenities for a family holiday.

Golden Crown Experience
The Golden Crown in Nazareth is situated a little out of the main town on Mt Precipice close to ancient Nazareth ruins but really needs a car to explore anywhere else.
The hotel itself looks amazing, however, some of it's public areas could do with a refresh, sun blinds stained, advertised swimming pool closed due to maintenance and won't reopen till June.
We had 2 rooms booked and they were comfortable & clean. They did stuff up the booking request of a double & 2 twins so brought down another bed and fruit & wine to make up for the mixup.
Hotels.com lists self laundry, however it is a paid laundry service, however they honoured the incorrect listing with a complimentary paid laundry service.
The breakfast was very ordinary, I don't know if that was partly because of restricted menu during Passover, but it was the worst breakfast of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Israel.
Restaurant was buffet style only and overpriced and not very appealing so we gave it a miss both nights and drove 10 mins into town.
Apart from the food side of things the hotel is still a good choice, various shops onsite too, but they are independent & pricey.

A pleasant hotel with a great view
I stayed there for 2 nights. The room was clean, air-conditioned with a nice balcony. Breakfast was good with a large variety of cheese and vegetables.
The space was good for the family. The pool was not available and there was no hot tub. Very helpful service. Not so close to old city but taxis easy to get
This hotel bills itself as 4-star, but is more akin to a 2-star airport hotel in the United States. The facility may once have been quite nice, but was showing a ton of age and a lack of maintenance. The food was awful, scenic view included the adjacent trash field, it's located far from anything of interest, and lacked service. Even the air conditioning had a governor on it that kept it from getting cool enough for me to use a blanket. I don't know if there are any better options in the area (kinda doubt it), but can't recommend this hotel.
