The lady did not have the code and stated that her colleague who does is busy.It took us almost an hour to get the code.The apartment is several steep steps up a very long staircase. "We spent a wonderful week in Maurizio's holiday house which is located in a very quiet environment within the steep hills between Corniglia and Vernazza. In particular, we have enjoyed the beautiful hikes between the picturesque villages in the region and the exceptional view from the house onto the sea. Thank you for the great time!"

"Very comfortable property to stay. Good condition, comfortable easy walk to restaurants, beach and old town. "

"The house was wonderful and the views were even better. You can see and hear the ocean from the balcony. The Belvedere of the Portofino peninsula from the top of the hill is a so peaceful - a great place to read a book. The town is welcoming, with small shops and restaurants. The property owner and caretaker are very helpful and friendly. We did not want to leave, and surely hope to return again soon!"

"Perfectly located in the old town of Montarosso. Spic and span, small but thoughtfully put together! Only thing I would change is to add a topper to the mattresses they are very European and a bit of an adjustment for Americans. That said the bedrooms are so lovely!"

"This was such an incredible little stay in a quiet and tiny town which is just what we needed after having a long couple of days in Rome! I will definitely be staying here if I ever find myself in cinque terre again !!"

"Communication was very good. Property was clean and well-maintained. Proximity to beach was outstanding. It's approx. 1/2 mile to train station, and taxis, if you can find one, are not very interested in transporting you (even though we had a traveler with an injury). Plan ahead."
