Staying at apartments Dimitra for 5 days in October 2018 was a great experience. The place is perfectly located, clean, comfortable, with all the necessities to self cater. Themis, the owner and Yelena who works there were very attentive and friendly; they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The apartment is located in Paralia Dionysiou, a nice beach town, but since we were there on off-season we only got to enjoy a couple of walks in their nice promenade. There is a bakery for fresh bread across the street, and a well stocked little grocery store two blocks away, with good quality local produce like cucumbers, feta cheese, tomatoes, and even olive oil! A butcher shop is next door, but we didn't check that one out. Restaurant Miramare was still open (off season) for dinner by the beach at sunset. The location is great, about half hour from Thessaloniki, and for easy day trips to places like Mt. Olympus and Petralona Cave, which is awesome. We recommend this place wholeheartedly.
