"It’s an old motel, which means that the floor in the bathroom had some hills and valleys, and the walls were thin enough to hear conversations in the adjacent room. It also means that everything has been worked out, and works well. Places to hang things, good coffee, comfortable bed. And because the motel caters to the fishing crowd, it quieted down by 9 pm. The internet connection worked fine for us. The owners were personable, pleasant, and interesting. We would certainly stay again."

" The grounds offered a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. I loved gazing out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, watching container ships glide past alongside sea lions, eagles, and a variety of other birds I couldn’t even name. The cabin was spotless and equipped with everything I needed. Hosts were immediate responsive yet not bothering. Loved the deck and spent hours watching the waves roll in and out.
