"Carlos picked us up from the ferry in Hvar and drove us to the apartment. He carried our luggage to our 2nd floor apartment which was big, clean, cool with two balconies. We were given great recommendations and Carlos was so friendly and genuinely nice. We walked every morning and back each evening from the main promenade. Maybe 15 minutes but well worth it. "The hotel rooms are quite old and run down. Our room had stains on the carpet and problems with the air con I wouldn't say it was 5 star. We also heard noise from the DJ and music festival until the early hours as the room wasn't insulated well. Which is a shame as the pool/ spa and restaurant are all get and the wait staff we very nice"

"This hotel was incredible! The amenities were superb and available all day. The free breakfast was delicious! The many pool, lounge and roof spaces that the hotel had to offer, served as a wonderful landing point to any day spent out exploring! One could even live at the hotel without leaving, and feel like they were on perpetual “bliss vacation!” I will be back, and look very much forward to making Amphora my home again in the future! Thank you to the team and wonderful, kind staff who were positive and open to handing any situation. Even the other guests were well mannered, polite, and on the same vibe as this heavenly spot."

"The hotel was great and the location couldn’t be better. The only drawback is that there’s no place for a taxi/uber to drop you off as it’s on a major street. We had to haul our luggage two blocks which on cobblestone sidewalks was not easy. My recommendation is have them park near the pharmacy that is on the corner of the street as the walk from there is short. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Split."

"Great stay. Like the location. We focused mainly in the Riva area but it was close to the highway which is also useful for us since we drove. It was away from thicker traffic and we ubered to the Old town to avoid parking headache. Fare was usually 5-7 EU. Not bad for 7 to 10 min drive. Interior was nice, pool area was great. Room was clean. Housekeeping was attentive. I recommend this place for a stay in Split. The location worked well for our need."

"Great Hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had a great view. Our room was a nice size with a king bed. The restaurant and roof top pool were great extra's. It is an easy 20 minute walk to old town. However its a short uber or taxi ride too. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again."
