"A lovely place to stay. We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. The hosts are every attentive, and although we can't speak french very well and their english was limited Google translate saved the day, especially at meal time when we sat with Celine and her family"

"Came for one night, and ended up staying for three, because we never wanted to leave. With kind horses all around, and the sound of nature and wind in the trees. With only a few rooms, you never experience too much of a crowd, and only the best people seem to end up here. The owners are the sweetest people, and we’ll definitely end up coming here every...

Hotel Les Champs

8/10 Good

"Small room but adequate Quite basic"

The Orangery of the Manor

8/10 Good

"Set it beautiful grounds the Orangery has a shabby chic quality ideal for groups. The pool is a beautiful treat to discover, found in a walled garden the other side of the Manor House, maybe not the most convenient but a serine place to be."

Le refuge du ptit Fischer

10/10 Excellent

"I booked as its pet friendly, just next to aldi. Accommodation simple but clean and well organised"

Château la Gauchetiere Avec Piscine

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay despite the weather. Everyone in the family from young to old loved the chateaux and beautiful grounds! And thr pool is heated!!"

Manoir des Ullis

10/10 Excellent

"Cet hébergement de grande qualité est optimal pour plusieurs familles. Il y règne un bel esprit.L'hôte est très accueillant et disponible. Le jardin est remarquable. La région possède de nombreuses ressources touristiques. Bref, à recommander!"

Large manor house for rent in Normandy, a stone's throw from Suisse Normande!

8/10 Good

"A great property with plenty of space for families staying together. The swimming pool was excellent and the children loved it. A very quiet location, no noise from cars or roads but plenty of places to visit if you take the car!"

Large gite sleeps 4 plus 1 cot

8/10 Good

"Le logement est très spacieux pour 4 et au calme. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et répond rapidement. Il peut également se déplacer sur place en cas de besoin. Je recommande ce logement."

La Grange aux Lumières - Heated swimming pool - Nature

10/10 Excellent

"Martine was there to meet us when we arrived, very friendly and helpful. Her English was better than our French. The property was as advertised - a well-stocked kitchen with induction hob (and all the right pots and pans for this), a clean oven, and all the cutlery and utensils we'd be likely to need. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and even the cockerel had the manners not to start crowing (is that the right word?) until around 10am, so sleep wasn't interrupted. It's a really quiet village but within very easy reach of a good supermarket with lots of fresh food and vegetables. It was a really, really hot week when we went and the prolonged drought meant that the grounds were totally parched, but there's plenty of space and after a little rain it will all be green again. During the week, we travelled as far south as Le Mans and Mont Saint-Michel, and up to the Normandy beaches in the north, and still had places we wanted to see and didn't have time. So, recommended for a week or longer, although I think shorter lets are available. We travelled from Portsmouth in the UK to Caen by ferry, which was really convenient and the drive to the house took less than an hour - once we'd got through customs."

Stone country house 142 m2

10/10 Excellent

"Great house in a peaceful area. A really good size for a large family. Hosts were really friendly and welcoming."
