"The house was incredible! So beautifully constructed. Unlike anywhere we’ve ever stayed.Was comfortably furnished and inviting. Kitchen is available for cooking and our host provided a few drinks.The yard was fantastic with all sorts of animals and birds. The entire place is open to the elements except bedrooms, which have an ac unit in each and the bathrooms are also closed.Cannot say enough about how unique an experience this was. Highly recommend.Host was wonderful and very helpful. Met us at a nearby restaurant/bar and personally escorted us to property and gave a lovely tour and explanation. Property is also located within about 20 mins of other towns and activities. Great location!"

"The property was very much like you're in nature. There were many wild life on the grounds. I saw a beautiful toucan up close and personal. The beach was nice and clean. I will definitely be staying there again."

"Location was great for exploring. The house was clean, good size. Kitchen had things we needed. We loved breakfast and naps on the patio! Very close easy walk to the beach. "

"Holy cow, this place was spectacular! A stunning combination of modern comfort (fully outfitted kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces with fans, grill, WiFi, filtered water) and true natural immersion, with the open-walled format and private location. The pathway to the private beach is beautiful and convenient, and the customer service was kind, quick, and helpful. We didn't have a car, which was totally fine - Manzanillo is an easy 15-minute walk (on the beach or by the road), and Uber helped out when it rained. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer - it was good for two nights, but I'd love to come back for a week, stock up at the grocery store, and truly relax and unwind."

"The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. The hosts are very nice and helpful, Marise will make sure you and comfortable and Pierre will tell you all about the wildlife. The room is clean and comfortable, although there is no AC, so keep that in mind. It is walkable to Cahuita although a couple more min out of the way than some of the other hotels, wasn’t a problem to walk to the beach, park or city though. Overall safe, comfortable, and friendly, I would recommend a stay here especially if you want easy access to sloths and wildlife out your front door"

"This was THE best stay we've ever had in CR. I couldn't say enjoy great things about this place. We had local food delivered from one of the hosts friends. The distance from the beach. 3min walk. The host, Natacha, answered almost immediately. The pool was huge. The double decks were amazing. Great bedrooms. Never even felt like we needed A/C. This was paradise!!"
