"Lovely view of the lake from our room. Room was spacious. Cleaning lacked attention to detail - there was dust on the shelves by the kettle. The shower gel had been watered down. I wouldn’t eat in either of the restaurants if I stayed again. Food was overpriced for what it was. Breakfast was very busy and only one coffee machine for decaf coffee so had to wait quite a long time to access the machine Staff were friendly. "

"Had a brilliant time with my family. Stayed over Christmas, enjoyed all the facilities of our accommodation including the hot tub. Loved the log fire and we had a lovely Christmas tree already set up which made it so homely. Will certainly go again"

"The property was very well equipped with all the basic essentials that were needed throughout the stay. Everything was as described on the website. Hosts were available before our stay with all of our questions, i didnt need to reach out throughout the stay. Nice and spacious property with a nice view of some water. Property was slightly hard to find as it was behind some hedges - however someone working there found the property for us and showed us the way. 2 of the beds, the mattresses were uncomfortable and the bedframe was loud too. Apart from that we had such a good time. The location was very good - not too far from some local Cotswolds villages. Would definitely book again. "

"This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. I like the green spaces between houses and it was very dog friendly when I brought my dog on the first visit. We had the indoor swimming pool included in our deal but unfortunately it was closed on the first day so we only managed to use it once. We went to the outdoor pool instead which is heated to a good temperature despite being outdoors. My son and children hired bikes and were out and about most of the time on them. The Balihoo restaurant is very convenient for a meal and we took advantage of the "Children eat free" deal. The houses are very comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus with the children."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Village. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. The outside areas are very well maintained and it is a lovely setting, close to the lake."

"We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. There was ample seating throughout, though the sofas didn’t quite accommodate all 7 at once. Onsite facilities were excellent, including a great restaurant, spa, swimming pools, tennis courts, water sports, and children’s activities. Offsite, there are scenic walks along the Thames Path and easy access to pubs and sightseeing, with Cirencester close by for Roman remains, museums, shopping, and dining. Communication with the booking team was very good—comprehensive, if at times a little overwhelming due to the volume of information. We had no major issues during our stay and only reported a few very minor points to the helpful onsite maintenance team. Overall, a spacious, well-located property that makes for a relaxing and activity-filled break."
