This was a revised trip & we were unable to fly to Nelson on Monday 6 September because of COVID-19. A shorter trip started on Wednesday 8 September. Weather a bit dicey

Great location right across the road from two supermarkets, several restaurants, takeaways and bars. Two petrol stations and two liquor stores in close proximity. Friendly and efficient staff, free parking on site with more free parking on the street if needed. Quiet side street off the main drag. Brilliant water pressure (fantastic shower) and a good nights sleep in their quality bed. Room 1 also had a couch, a second single bed, and accessible facilities. The grounds are pretty with potted geraniums and other florals making the atmosphere welcoming and quaint. Will stay again.

Lovely, clean and tidy room. We were told about the night market across the road when we arrived, which was a lovely experience of food and music. Very handy location, plenty of cafès and supermarkets close by all within walking distance.

It was very convenient to where we needed to be whilst in Stoke. The proprietors were very pleasant and helpful - even helping take our luggage upstairs because of mobility issues. The only downside was the size of the room - it was relatively small. Luckily, however, we were out most of the time so it was not too much of a problem.

Close to lovely gardens where there is a cute cafe called the garden window and the nearby shopping centre has 2 supermarkets. Squires for breakfast is amazing value with generous portions and fabulous muffins for only$4. The motel has a huge range of DVD s. Washing is$2 and they have a line for drying and as the weather was sunny and windy we didn’t have to use the dryer. The room is beautifully clean and the owners friendly.

The property was located handily to the local shops & cafes, very clean and the staff were helpful & friendly. Very safe as right next to Police station! Only things to take into consideration are that most rooms are upstairs & no lift so need mobility, and ask for a room on the caryard side of the building as quieter (tradesman who lives next door on left hand side parks right under the room windows and woke me up at 6am banging things around in his ute then talking to his mate; not the fault of the motel but bloody annoying).

Friendly and fully supportive staff and housekeeping. Very clean and even has laubdry sẻvices. Located close to shopping and very good restaurants. Safe and free car park and located two doors down from the local police station. I will be back in a couple of month’s time.
