Perched on a wooded ridgetop, this spacious, Amish built cabin is the ideal place to sit back and relax. With a large covered porch on the front, overlooking the hillside and hills beyond, the scenery is sure to inspire.
This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer!

Large beautiful cabin with fenced in yard and hot tub. The owners were friendly and helpful. Internet was spotty; which is probably expected in the middle of no where. Recommended for a get away to Hocking Hills

Amazing get away!

Very nice, clean home with a lot of room. With three teenagers with us, it was nice that they all had their own space. Loved it! Owners were very responsive and helpful too!! Highly recommend.

First Impressions

The driveway is a little rough and would definitely have to have 4x4 in snow. The cabin itself was nice. I have never stayed in a rental that left used condiments, cheese in the refrigerator and opened cookies on the counter. The electricity went out and although Nick answered my call it would have been nice that he reach out to us seeing how he was in the know and we were not. The mattress' have no mattress protectors and the shower liner needs replaced.

We had everything we needed except kitchen towels. This is by far the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in, which is such a treat when being in the forest - no bugs inside! Thank you!

Home away from home

Our stay in Hocking Hills was perfect. The house was spotless and well-stocked. The hot tub was relaxing and fun for the kids. There is a small Golden Tee video game that my son enjoyed. We locked ourselves out of the house and Nick came quickly to let us in. He was so kind and did not seem annoyed with our mistake. This house would work great for two families. We really enjoyed the area and the comforts of the house.

Loved the modern cabin

The place has been clearly remodeled and it’s done with really good taste. It was clean and family friendly. Our family really enjoyed the proximity to all the caves, Ash Cave and Old Man’s Cave as well as it’s proximity to town. We enjoyed ourselves there. The only problem was the wifi. It was down for 2 days because they were working on a tower close by and unfortunately, the tv also runs off wifi. A little spotty when it was back up. It was a good excuse to disconnect and play games and watch movies on dvd supplied by the owners.

Anniversary Cabin Stay

We really enjoyed this cabin over weekend with our family to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The only suggestions I would make are railing going to the basement for small children and elderly guests. It was very dangerous going up and down with no railing to protect them from falling over the steps and walking down. Basement bedrooms and sitting area were very chilly so I would bring extra blankets. A define plus would have been a shower in the downstairs bathroom especially for a large family. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend and time at this cabin.

Awesome time!

The cabin was the perfect size for our family group. It was very clean and it has an amazing deck for all weather. The cabin has doggie doors to the deck and from one of the bedrooms to the fenced area. Fenced area is nice if you are traveling with your dog. Plenty of towels were available. We brought our own blackstone grill which was awesome for our bigger group. They provide a charcoal grill, the charcoal, and the lighter fluid. Plenty of extra chairs available, pad for sofa bed was a nice addition also. There is a 1/2 bath in the basement and a full bathroom upstairs. Pointers that we provided for the owners were to add many towel hooks, either down the wall in the bathroom or a couple in each bedroom and to leave detailed instructions for the hot tub. We were not aware there was chlorine below the kitchen sink and therefore only used the hot tub twice. Hot tub is nice with plenty of jets though. Would definitely stay here again.

End of Summer Getaway

Very Very Nice inside!! Looked Just like the pictures!! So roomy! Very clean!! Had everything we needed. My husband and I, our 15 year old son, 17 year old daughter and our 2 year old dog, had a wonderful stay! Each child had their own room and their own living room with a tv downstairs while we had ours upstairs---we were together, but when we needed our own time and space---we had it! Loved the upper deck with the roof over the swings and picnic tables, and the fact that it had a gate for our doggie so he could just walk around on it without having to worry about him going down the stairs without us or us having to leash him. We also liked the fact that the yard had a fence for him so he could roam around while we toasted marshmallows. A few downsides--I realize that you're in Hocking Hills---but there is basically NO reception at the cabin, so it was good that we kind of new the area from going other times and the fact that we had things planned out before even leaving home, and we did get some reception as we got closer to town. The cabin is about 25 to 30 minutes from the caves, hiking and towns. One last HUGE thing---the stairs, front and back, have no spindles in the railings and if we hadn't had our dog on a leash the first time we went up the back stairs he would've fallen off the top landing because the screen door came back and hit him and his back legs went off but i had him by his leash---thank God it wasn't a neck leash! By all means we would DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!! Thank you so much for our much needed getaway!!

We enjoyed our stay here, loved that it was pet-friendly, and very quiet. Internet and phone service was spotty, but it provided us the opportunity to disconnect from devices and reconnect with each other. Excellent communication from hosts!
