The view of the sea in April was spectacular The beach is rather stony not sandy but the placemet our needs perfectly. We stayed there one night only to break up a tarp from Thessaloniki to Athens. "We were looking for an intermediate stop between Meteora and Athens, and chose Aidipsos because it was on the water. Evia Bay is a small hotel with very nice rooms and friendly proprietors who shared local knowledge on restaurants and pointed us to the hot springs right on the beach in town, where in mythology Hercules went to recover after battles. Overall great stay, beautiful sunset and a place we would stay longer for relaxation if we had the time."

"We are very unhappy with this place and advise others to be very cautious in dealing with this place. They advertised four indoor pools and a free breakfast, there is none of this! The worst thing was we paid for our two night upfront on Expedia and when we went to check out they stated that we owed for the stay. We showed them both our paid Expedia account and our online credit card statement proving payment. They still said we hadn’t paid and refused to call Expedia for confirmation. After about 20 minutes of this nonsense they said ok just pay room tax. So they gave credit card scanner showing only the room tax, but when they took it back they put in the room charges we already paid. In three months of traveling all over Greece we had never had any thing like this happen. Travelers be warned!"

"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We stayed on 4th floor which was recently added and the room was fantastic. View was stunning and we had everything we needed. It's very convenient to have a spa in a hotel! Breakfast was great (homemade Greek food)! Natasa, the receptionist, was very welcoming and super friendly. We will return!"

"Property wonderful, clean, safe, well maintained. Minor annoyances included -hotel requirement for caps in pool...they should provide [charge in room rate] or tell guests up front, -some staff in breakfast room need to be better trained. "

"We spent a wonderfully relaxing week with our extended family ages 7 months to 63 at Michael & Dimitria's beautiful and expansive home. The house was filled with comfortable spaces to lounge and congregate for meals, drinks and fun times in the pool. We enjoyed our short morning strolls to the local bakery, dinners at the local taverna accompanied by live bazouki music and short drives to the nearby beaches. We had a fun day on a sailboat arranged by Michael and also spent a day seeing the sights in Meteora. In between all this activity we lounged around and in the refreshing pool. The house was very clean and orderly. We especially enjoyed cooking for our crowd in the large well equipped kitchen. Michael & Dimitria were excellent hosts. If you're looking for a quiet Greek village without tourists but with a warm and friendly vibe, we recommend lovely Achinos."
