The hotel isn't an attractive building but the room was large and the grounds and sea views are fabulous. Perfect location - a quiet setting but close to town and the beach. Superb buffet breakfast with all my favorite Spanish treats.

I just love The Parador, the rooms, the views, the exterior gardens and pool, the bar, the breakfast, the staff, the location - everything. I am so sad they are closing for TWO YEARS for renovations. I sincerely hope it keeps its special vibe. Hasta 2027 Parador!

The breakfast was very diasppointing - only continental on second day and cold bacon and tortilla on Day 1. The gardens were not kept to a high standard. The bedroom was tired and that was after we upgraded to a suite but we enjoyed the terrace. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was wonderful! The housekeeping staff always managed to clean your room while you were at breakfast. Amazing! Other than two men at the front desk, who seemed kind of disengaged, all the staff were terrific! Special thanks to the housekeeping supervisor one evening, who helped asleep by getting our neighbors to asleep by getting our neighbors to Be a little quieter. Very nice that the bar served food at all hours so you could eat when you arrived.

We were very impressed with this hotel. It was in a beautiful location by the beach (loved the convenience of a lift to take you down to the beach!) but it was also very easy to get to the shopping and restaurant areas. The hotel pool was quiet and the gardens were beautiful and peaceful with plenty of sun loungers to relax on. The room itself was spacious and clean, beds comfortable. We really liked the cake and fresh fruit which was left in our room on a couple of occasions! The staff were helpful and very pleasant and the breakfast was lovely, lots of healthy options. The only criticism we had was the lack of an extractor fan in our bathroom but but this was a very minor aspect. Overall we were delighted with the hotel.

Superb relaxing hotel in perfect location!

The hotel is spotlessly clean from the bedrooms, bathrooms to the restaurant and public areas. Gardens beautifully kept and a real bonus with plenty of sundbeds on the grass, with amazing views overlooking burriana beach, the mountains and the sea. Breakfast choice and service was excellent, we particularly liked the egg station with made to order omlettes and scrambed eggs some of the best I have ever tasted! White linen tablecloths, real silver tea and coffee pots and terrrace with incredible views made it all feel very luxurious. This hotel is in a perfect location with burriana beach, bars and restaursnts less than 5 mins walk using the hotels private lift, and the lovely town of Nerja and the balcon only 10 mins walk in the other direction. This hotel could very easily be 5 star in terms of service, friendly staff, quality of food, cleanliness and little extras like free canopes served in the garden, local honey, anchovies and treats on various days in the room. The only crititism was the lack of any evebing entertainment. Don't get me wrong its not a hotel you would want to see bingo or a cabaret but since the hotel pictures show a piano in the bar, it would have made our holiday to have somone play a little cocktail piano. As a musician myself I asked the waiter and he told me the piano was locked and hadn't been used in a long time. A little misleading and disaapointing in our view. We didn't find the hotel dated as some reviews mentioned. Overall highly recommended!

The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is the absolutely ridiculously hard beds in the room. They felt like a plywood camping cot without a mattress. A guest would be more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Woke up with back ache all four mornings. Bring your own camping mat if you cherish your back health. I’m 178 cm tall and weigh 80 kg.

The Parador is excellent. We booked a room which overlooked the garden, pool and sea view just amazing. All staff are extremely welcoming and pleasant and breakfast is certainly the best I have had in Spain. Hope to return one day!
