"Room is located in a rundown apartment building, unprofessionally furnished with IKEA furniture. Front desk shared with another hotel a few blocks away. PS, there is an oversupply of hotel rooms in Iceland. Do not book in advance - price goes down in summer."

"One of the most beautiful drive to this property located at remote location! Even though it’s gravel road, if you enjoy driving, you’d appreciate the beauty of the nature during entire drive. Other guests spotted whales and dolphins right at front side of property. I and my wife enjoyed our stay. I’d go there again just to enjoy the drive and have a cup of coffee in morning sitting at bench in front of the property hoping to spot whales!"

"Beautiful spot and very helpful host. We were traveling a long way with a big group and arrived late so we did not have much time to do more than sleep, but the host was incredibly helpful and responsive and flexible to our needs and questions. We were sorry to not have more time to stay to explore and enjoy the property!"

"So we rented the apartment version of this hotel . It was lovely. Had a bedroom a living area that also had a bed . Dining table and full kitchen and bathroom . The listing gets confusing due to the other reviews but there are two versions the apartment version where you are o ly with your group and then the rent a room with a community living and kitchen area . The full apartment was great and a great little village ."

"The room was spotless, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There's a well-equipped shared kitchen on the first floor where you can cook meals, toast bread, and prepare other food. Complimentary coffee and tea are also available, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that the room is a bit small for two people. Other than that, it was a great stay, and I would happily recommend it."

"We had a wonderful stay here. I especially loved that the guesthouse offers a fully equipped kitchen that guests can use for free, along with complimentary laundry facilities and a coffee dispenser. The place was spotless, and the beds were clean, fresh, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seyðisfjörður."
