The location of this hotel is excellent - it is located right next to the best beach in Netanya, and very close to the area where many restaurants are. The property would benefit from some TLC. Limited parking is available but not guaranteed.

Margoa is a decent hotel a block away from the beach, square and main eating and shopping drag of Netanya. It's not a fancy place, but it is clean and well run, with a decent breakfast included. Parking is tight, and on a first come, first serve basis, otherwise, you have to park on the street which is metered. It is in the mostly French side of town, and the hotel occupants look to be mostly older folks. Pleasant enough for a few days.

SHOCKING EXPERIENCE

The shower was too small and unhygienic. There were flying insects and fish moths. The enclosure was not water tight so water splashed on bathroom floor. The soap provided was poor quality. The self serve breakfasts were had varied items. However the servers handled the food without gloves. The dining room led to the patio. Houseflies flew in from outside and settled on the food.

Voorzieningen in orde, maar alles maakte een wat gedateerde indruk. Vriendelijke mensen. Eigen parkeerplaats. Uitgebreid ontbijt maar uitsluitend afgestemd op de Israëlische smaak. Uitzicht op zee, dicht bij centrum.

Les Managers de cet hotel sont tres antipathiques ! Ils ne souhaitent plus la presence de personnes agees et nous ont obligés d'annuler notre sejour ! Heureusement nous avons trouvé dans la meme rue un hotel de bien meilleure qualité ave c un accueil plus agreable et une vue mer ! Nous n'irons plus dans cet hôtel ou nous sommes allés dans le passé... Ils indiquent que les chambres sont rénovées mai c est un gros mensonge ! A fuir !...

Pleasant stay

We had a 4 evening stay with a comfortable bed, very good breakfast every morning, friendly employees and great location across the street from the beach. The hotel as a whole could benefit from a modernization. The bedroom bathrooms are showing their age. Overall we would go back.

Lovely family type hotel with great service

This hotel is rated as a 3 star hotel - so I had no illusions that it would be over luxurious. However it was more than adequate and more importantly the service was excellent - every request and need was seen to obligingly and with efficiency. There is a coffee machine with a variety of drinks in the dining room that guests are able to access non stop - a great bonus. The staff were friendly and family like. The location was a 1 minute walk from the town centre. I was very pleased with our choice of hotel and would not hesitate to return.

Small rooms, noisy, poor breakfast

The rooms are quite small, but overall ok. But the walls are very thin and the other guests made lots of noise (mainly, religious people celebrating Shabat...) The breakfast was very poor in all aspects - poor variety, and we actually did not find anything really tasty worth eating. We ended up going to eat breakfast at a nearby coffee place.
