Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"We enjoyed the appartment. The kitchen has a window in the roof, so it is very bright, what we loved. Only in the case of heavy rain you can hear it. The bed for the parents was good. The second sleeping room is only for one kid. The other one slept in the living room on an foldable sofa. As long as the kids are small enough it works."

"The location of this flat is fantastic - close to sights, restaurants, etc. in all directions but tucked away in a charming neighborhood. Other positives: very comfortable living room, plenty of hot water, and good pressure. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked nice.Our issues were around nighttime noise (which we were told it wouldn't have), weak AC, cleanliness and limited wi-fi.It is ground-level and next to an outdoor bistro.
