"Basic but nice "

"John & Lein were amazing hosts. Their accommodation is a standout here. It's clean, well appointed, and includes many thoughtful touches. It has all you need and is close to the beach, shops, restaurants. The hosts shared their knowledge of the area and even helped me get tickets to a nearby park where I enjoyed many hikes and saw a lot of wildlife. Snag this rental if you can."

"We had an amazing time - the location is great for bike or bus trips to nearby towns, and the commute into Amsterdam is really easy. The family is wonderful and being on the canal was really nice and relaxing. Would highly recommend this stay!!"

When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. "We were very disappointed that the af did not properly explain the property The bathrooms and showers were more than 200ft away from our cottage. There was no running water at all in our cottage, as well as not hot running water in the bathrooms only in the shower. The pathways to the cottages were slippery and not at all well lit The hot tub cover was too big for our hot tub and made it very difficult and dangerous to walk by to the bathroom as well as not well lit. Loop je 6 minuten naar links, dan ben je in de gezelllige hoofdstraat. De beach cottage heeft veel extra voorzieningen als een koel-/vriescombinatie, een wasmachine met droger, een vaatwasser, oventje en magnetron. Verder is er ruim voldoende servies en bestek. "We enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in the city before but this time planned to visit the tulip fields and the Keukenhof gardens and it was an easy 15/20 minute drive. The location is quiet and tranquil. You hear all the animals playing and talking and we even got a visit from a group of ducks. If you wish to go into the city it's at least 30 minutes but also an easy drive. There is no TV which as weird at first but it worked out just fine!"
