"The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. Will think twice about using Expedia again. Don't like being taken for a ride."

"This spacious family room beat our expectations as there were two double beds and a single bed which suited our family well having a 16 and 9 year old. The house was beautifully presented and quirky with lots of modern art on display. The breakfast had a nice selection but the highlight for us was the swimming pool. It was extremely hot when we stayed so we made the most of it and was lovely to relax there after a lot of traveling. The host was very friendly and despite the language barrier we were able to communicate. As we stayed Sunday Into Monday the shops weren’t open in town apart from a local shop on Sunday and on Monday we found a lovely little Boulanger around the corner. We don’t think we saw the best of the town. This was a delightful relaxing stay in a traditional French house."

C'est vraiment, comme on dit aux Pays-Bas, « vivre comme un dieu en France ». Le mobilier de bon goût et parfaitement équipé du gîte, la piscine avec vue sur le château, le ballet incessant des hirondelles, la tranquillité des lieux, le paysage vallonné… Sans oublier l'accueil chaleureux d'Angeline et Jean-François Morillion, toujours prêts à bavarder.Casper Oranje et Sandra Vermeer (Amsterdam/La Haye)"
