"The woman who checked us in was fabulous, and the room was nice and clean when we arrived. They even had everything ready for a last minute early check-in, which was wonderful after a day of travel. They even offered us coffee and refreshments and helped us load our bags onto a trolley so it was easier to move things to our room. It’s a beautiful place - my daughter especially loved that there was music playing in the bathroom.
That being said, we had trouble streaming to the tv - the Apple device was connected to a WiFi account (password protected) we didn’t have access to, so even though it was presented as an option, we couldn’t utilize that feature. The shower also leaked terribly to the point where we had to ask for more towels because we had to use all of the ones provided to keep water from going everywhere. Then it took forever to get new towels because the only way we could reach the hotel aside from going up to the lobby (we’re all in our pj’s at this point) was through WhatsApp, as there was no phone to call up. Once someone viewed our request, it was fulfilled promptly, but it did take a bit for them to see the message.
Again, beautiful property, friendly and accommodating staff, just a few other inconveniences that made it less than a five-star stay."
