"Usually when I stay in smaller hotels in Germany, they look very old-fashioned and are not very clean. Landhaus Sixtmühle was just the opposite. My one-person room was extremely clean and modern. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and everything from the moment I checked in until the time I checked out went SO smoothly. I can highly recommend this place!"

"Für Schlüsselübergabe mussten wir 80 km Umweg fahren. Die Wohnung war übervoll mit privaten Gegenständen, teilweise Müll, dreckig, das Bett zerwühlt und nicht einmal abgezogen. Kein freier Platz, um etwas zu verstauen. Kaum Geschirr. Kaum Möbel. Fotos entsprechen nicht der Realität. Ich musste erst einmal Bad und Küche putzen und das Bett neu beziehen. Handtücher gab es keine. Aber Einbruchspuren."

"Genaueres zu der Unterkunft kann ich nicht sagen, da wir nicht mal reingelassen wurden. Nach einer 8-Stündigen Zugfahrt und anschließender 30 Minütiger Taxifahrt (die auch nicht günstig war) vor einer verschlossenen Tür zu stehen war sehr unangenehm. Des Weiteren war die Erreichbarkeit des Ansprechpartner mangelhaft. Die Hinterlegte Handynummer ging nicht und auf ein Klingeln reagierte keiner. "Room for Rent is an awesome property. The amenities in the room are exactly what you need for a vacation, the location is not far from the train station (only 20 mins to get to Munich), the area is quiet and has grocery stores nearby. The staff are friendly and willing to tell you about the area and places to go. I would definitely stay here again."

"Nearing the end of our two week European holiday, staying in a smaller community where traffic and parking were not issues was a nice change. We were still able to visit Munich easily by taking a short drive to the train station (free parking) and heading into the city. We even changed trains to go see the Alliance Stadium. The property was beautiful and well appointed. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating. In fact, they made a reservation at a local establishment on our behalf to go watch...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property owners were very accommodating and provided additional information about the area. There was a market and butcher within walking distances. The Bahn was an easy 10 minute drive. The property was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. Next time we go to Munich we will look to return to rent again. Thanks for making this a highlight of our trip."

"Being from the US we didn’t know how to get to and from the train stations. We walked a very long way around the first time. The second we took a taxi. The third time a taxi driver told us we could connect to the hotel from the train station with a very short walk and go through the tunnel. Would have been nice to know from the staff. Also the door to the pool you have to be observant. I’ve never seen some weird push button you have to push after you use your hotel card. Other than that...

"Very, very convenient to the Munich train station, but the downside to that is that it attracts folks that loiter on the streets, smoking and hanging out. Didn't really feel unsafe, just a little icky once you were beyond the front of the hotel. "
