La vue sur les champs à l’arrière du bâtiment est superbe: couché de soleil sur un océan de verdure. "The owner is very welcoming and the Chateau has an authentic feeling. The owner's mother is very warm and friendly. The history of the Chateau, which is also intriguing, should be written up and shared with guests as soon as they arrive. It was well located with the centre of Bayeux walking distance and many other beach towns a short drive away. It was a great place to stay."

"Domaine de Bayeux is a charming property located just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Bayeux. Set on spacious grounds, it combines a beautiful 18th-century main house with two more modern buildings. The staff were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was generous and enjoyable, and the gardens were beautifully maintained and pleasant to relax in. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a small area for making hot drinks. The only drawback was the noise in the main building. Sound carries quite easily, so we could hear guests in neighboring rooms, as well as people on the ground floor during check-in and breakfast. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend asking for a room in one of the newer buildings. Overall, a very pleasant and well-located place to stay in Bayeux."

"Gently fading grandeur. We had a lovely time and the pool/spa are very nice. Staff were friendly. Bar prices seem to reflect what this hotel used to be like, rather than its current state of maintenance as a few things weren't working eg room phones, spa shower. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely."
