"The room itself was OK, and the "hotel" was not so difficult to find. The problem was access. I got a message in German, but not being German it was not of any help. I could see a code on it, I guess to access the hotel, but it did not work. I called for help, and the phone was answered and was manager was helpful. I was able to get into the building. "The staff was welcoming and friendly from the start, offering complimentary sparkling wine when we checked in. Pretty much everything in Baden Baden is walkable from the hotel given its location. If you take the bus from the train station, you can cut through the mall area to the hotel and save yourself a 10-15 minute walk as Google Maps suggests!"

"Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station. Room was clean and comfortable. I didn't like that the smoking area is right at the front entrance. A couple of times, I had to wiggle my way into the lobby through all the smokers. My room was just above the entrance, so I could not open the windows, otherwise all the smoke would get in. Other than that, its an affordable/conveniente/clean place to stay."
