"The images on line of the hotel is not where we ended up staying. When we arrived the lady was closing up shop for the day( mindful that the post says 24/7 front desk) she was not happy to see us. Gave us our papers and wanted to be done for us. Luckily a guy told us he would take us to the apartment about 400 meters away. It was also advertise that is was close to the Klon Cathedral. "Friendly helpful staff especially at reception - the gentleman who checked me in spoke excellent English, while the lady who checked me out directed me helpfully to the tramstop from which I could get a ticket to the station. Nice big room with separate lounge area and en-suite bathroom. The small balcony outside was a nice touch. Breakfast was good value, being a buffet with a wide selection. "This was my first time to Cologne and this apartment was absolutely amazing. Located in what I would say was the most beautiful part of Cologne, it is quiet and located close to the Rhein, supermarkets, restaurants, transit. It was very easy to get to where I wanted to go from this location. The host was also incredible and was quick to answer any questions I had and fix any issues. It was absolutely perfect for my 5 week stay and I would definitely stay here again when I return."
