We love staying at Harmony Ridge Lodge when we visit the Nevada City area. It is in a lovely forested area that also has shady fruit trees to enjoy while relaxing outside. The gardens are well maintained and lovely. The complementary breakfast offers all one could possibly want in a cozy dining room and fireplace seating area. The rooms are always clean, bright, roomy and easy to control the temperature in winter or in summer.

Great stay here. Breakfast was wonderful— a true home cooked breakfast. My room was huge and had a great bathtub. Excellent option if you’re looking to stay a few minutes outside of Nevada City.

This place is a perfect location as it’s right at the trailhead. As a mountain biker who sleeps poorly while camping this is one of my fave places to stay when coming to ride in the area. It’s close enough to town to get a bite to eat, but far enough that it feels like the middle of nowhere. Big rooms, outdoor patios, and free home cooked breakfast keep me coming back every year.
