"My husband and I recently stayed at Dawne's cottage in Old Bonaventure for 2 nights. We absolutely would have loved to have stayed longer. The cottage is really comfortable and cozy. Lots of areas to relax in. Clean, spacious. It has everything you need for an extended stay. Comfortable bed, nice towels. Nice touch to leave local teas and coffee beans for our use, as well as the chocolates! Old Bonaventure is quite out of the way, however, the drive in is very scenic, and with the cottage overlooking the small fishing village, it really exposes you to local life in NL. Trinity is a short drive away, and there are endless other sites in the Bona Vista peninsula to occupy your time while in the area. Wish we would have built in more time to just enjoy our surroundings and the cottage itself. Would recommend to others."

"We had only one night here which was disappointing because we would have loved to stay longer. The area is so lovely and the view was gorgeous. This cozy 2 bedroom was perfect for us and our hosts made us feel at home. "

Close to scenic hiking, and attractions in Trinity, Bonavista and Elliston … after a busy day this was the most peaceful and scenic retreat. "This property was very well appointed, clean, beautiful, and with a fabulous view. Would highly recommend it. It was our favourite stay while in Newfoundland. Two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, BBQ, two outdoor decks, very quiet at night. A perfect place for two people. "

"Heritage house comfortably furnished with charming artwork throughout. Walking distance to town. During our visit we enjoying hiking the Sherwink Trail, a play at the Rising Tides Theatre, puffins at Elliston, and the lighthouse at Bonavista. Coming back to the house in colorful Trinity was always a pleasure. "

"The check in instructions arrived shortly before arrival, would prefer to receive them at the time of booking. The door that was supposed to be blocked was locked so had to call for assistance. Called two times as did not receive a call back after leaving a message."
